Freelance Graphic Artist aka A SPARK is a native San Antonio creative firm that produces advertising and marketing products and services just like the big Ad Agencies, but without all of the overhead of an Ad Agency. My core graphic design services include Print, Video, Web, 3D & Signs. A SPARK foundation originated in traditional illustrations, then evolved into “design for print” when the digital age was in its infancy as a Freelance Graphic Artist. When new technologies became available, like “Firewire”… It was the first wave of the future.

Preston Clark, A SPARK’s founder and creative director, signature first appeared in the late ’70s as his “artist” version of his signature.

Later as Production Manager in an major Ad Agency, Preston used it as a Quality Control signature. It was his job to review every artist file prior to sending the digital files to the printer. If it had this stamp, it was good to go!
